That is not a typo. 9200 original miles.
Everything is in great condition and original.
It is a convertible and has both black rag top and burnt orange hard top with it
It is burnt orange in color and still shines.

well according to nada guide www.nada.com in the consumer section under classics average retail is 5.950 dollars, the factory hardtop adds a grand so 6,950 bucks if the car is worth high retail 10 grand would be considered top condition. Triumph has long been known for electrical gremlins with its lucas electrics and you need a spedial set of wentworth tools to work on one. Add to that dealer only parts and you have a fun , but expensive sports car.
You need to be a tinkerer to own a car like this, and if you like this kind of car its a blast to own but demands a lot of your time.And finding parts for one now is an expensive proposition, especially in the USA this would not be a good daily driver for a dependable work car.

How many 1980 triumph spitfires were produced?

I have one and just wondered how rare it was.I know over 300,000 were produced in all the years they were made but what about in 1980?

Well i've extended this question twice.I guess i must be looking in the wrong place for a good answer to this question.Any other suggestions on where to look?

from dec 1974 to aug 1980 95,829 spitfire 1500 were built, I had a friend who had a 1974 pretty cool sports car for those days. I typed "1980 triumph spitfire wikipedia? " in my web search box to find the number of spitfires produced , I am not sure if you looked there yet, but as I scrolled down through the article, down towards the bottom past the die cast explanation, there was an external links section and there appeared to be four seperate websites, I checked two real quick, and there was more information than I have ever seen about spitfires in just one website, dont know if you are looking for more info, but there were a lot of specs,and transmission swap combos with a jag, so check it out there appeared to be several hours of reading in each link, best of luck, hope this helps.
