Are u in african continent?which country?
Did u have a import permit? if yes what the customs wants.
If the customs is not happy with your pricing, they can always valuvate the car and tax u accordingly.
Is import of luxury car controlled in your country.
I think that you have brought in a car which is more luxurious than the Prime Minister or the President.Check it out.
Have u made efforts to meet Director general of customs,
The ministries n ministers involved must be International Trade Ministry and home ministry.
The interpol or Inteligence could have report on your status.
Were u in anyway blacklisted in your country or another country for illegal activities?
Or some one waiting for Big Chai Bora from you.
Tell me which country? Answer my quearions and If you are Honest and lucky,I will help you out.

Answer
Don't buy a car on the street. You have no comeback if it is rubbish or stolen. If you get it from a dealer you will pay a little more but if it is big trouble you might be able to get them to pay some of the cost of repairs if they have a warranty.
The Chrysler 300 is just a rebodied old E class Mercedes Benz, and they were not the best models that M-B ever made even then. Apart from that they are are among the ugliest models on the road. I actually own a M-B but a different model and a fair bit older.
Muscle cars will cost more in insurance and in fuel and tyres. I do not know where you live but modified cars in this country are worth next to nothing in resale since most people and dealers will consider them to be polished t*rds.
There is virtually no substitute for Toyota. They have a fantastic reputation for reliability, far better than M-B. Your wife may like the very small models, that is typical of women, they theink these cars are "cute". These are not a good idea because over long distances they are noisy and tiring to drive. You are better off to buy a car with an engine of 2 litres capacity or a little more rather than ones that are much smaller. The bigger the engine, the less noise, the longer the wheelbase and the bigger the wheels, the smoother the ride. That goes for any car made since the first ones in 1885.
