I want a manual car that looks good. suggestions?
Ariea V
I want something that is stick shift, looks cool, and is under 8000 dollars. Stick shit is a must. Doesn't have to be a sports car. Something like a VW new beetle but isn't a mini cooper. Any ideas? This is also going to be my first car.

What is a good sport car for a guy to buy for under $8000?
Sebastian
the type of cars i like are the cadillac cts, the mercedes sl500, the chevy camaro, etc. one of my friends owns a 2005 cts so i dont want to get the same car as him and i also cant get a sl500 because my other friend owns a 2001 sl500. what car is comparable to these (year 2001 and up) that i can get for around 8 Grand? thanks
Answer
Can't go wrong with the classic Camaro SS or Mustang GT. With a custom exhaust on one of those it'll sound a hell of a lot better than any of your friends cars. Plus, with both being domestic cars the cost of maintenance will be MUCH lower than a luxury car (Caddy) or a Mercedes. Sure, it may be cool now. But when he has to pay a couple grand to replace the AC compressor if it were to crap out, then it probably won't be as sweet.
Also look at Chevy Cobalt's (lower insurance, the coupe versions look great) or a Civic Si, Prelude, Integra, Mazda 3, WRX, STI, 3000gt, 240sx, 300zx.. The list can go on and on.
But my number one suggestion would be a Camaro SS or a Mustang GT. Don't bother getting one that isn't a V8, or a stick shift.
Good luck my friend!
