How to save up for a sports car?
Ever since I was a little kid I've been a sports car fanatic. I am in nursing school, and will graduate soon. Do you think it would be possible to save up for a nice weekend car. How long would it take to save $60-70k for a car assuming I make around $60,000 a year? Any tips on how to save up for a big purchase over time?
Answer
Live well within your means and save as much as you can. I find it ironic how many middle class Americans complain about living pay check to pay check yet they are richer than 99% of the worlds population. Most Americans spend far more than they really need to. Just because you can afford it doesn't mean you should buy it. I am just saying about things in General (new TV, latest iphone, DVDs, etc.). If there is something you really do want like your sports car then go ahead and get it if you can afford it, just don't be as frivolous with your spending as so many are. You seem to already be on the right track by saying you want to save up for it rather than go into debt to buy it. Just pretend like your income is less than what is really is, for example 40k. 40k is still a decent income so try to live off that and save the rest each year. You'll have enough for your sports care in just 3-4 years. If you want it sooner live off a 30k income and save enough within 2-3 years. That doesn't consider taxes though so it may take just a little longer.

Looking for a car that turns heads above all; you know something that people can't help but notice (something sexy). But at the same time is very comfortable and with a nice luxerious interior. Any and all suggestions will be very helpful.

The best car ever is a perfect condition 15th anniversary edition toyota (best car company) SUPRA very rare so sure to turn heads get the 1997 thats 15th yr. they are a wider body and you can get them with the removable targa top also availabe in non turbo single and twin turbo my favorite also only yr to come in electric deep blue ever rarer. With hardly any modifications can blow the doors off a ferrari and the seats are pivoted perfectly for the driver with an almost wrap around dash look it up you will be amazed. Probably the most awe inspiring car modified or not in the past decade
