Power is transferred to all wheels via a six-speed tiptronic automatic transmission. The driver can shift gears either with the selector lever or manually with the shift paddles on the steering wheel.The V12 diesel engine can sprint the Q7 from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.5 sec and to an electronically capped top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). As for fuel consumption, the 12-cylinder Q7 requires 11.9 liters of diesel per 100 km or 19.8 mpg.
In terms of styling, the Q7 V12 TDI stands out thanks to the wider wheel arches that house new 20’’ alloys, the aluminum caps on the exterior mirrors, redesigned bumpers, darkened tail-lights and the new door moldings. Inside the most powerful Q7 features a sportier trim than includes carbon covers and aluminum details. Sales of the Audi Q7 V12 TDI will begin in the second half of 2008.
